I would love to see something in the game like the funfare at cooney island at the start of operation drumbeat with all the sounds and lights of the funfare, uboats off the coast, quiet and watching,
and ships travelling up and down the coast with the lights still on,

What i wouldnt like to see is burning oil in the water and men abandoning ship, the reason the cost in mariners was so high was because of destroyers unwillingless to pick up survivers,
will destroyers in the game stop to pick up survivors and will we be able to shoot them while they are busy doing that and if we do torpedo a rescue ship will there be any negative consequenses.

men died so we could be free

Hey everyone, just another opinion about this discussion of going after rescuers of sunk ships. WHY NOT! Why do you think so many people died after thier ship was sunk, even though there were other ships in the area so many times. Because, if you stopped to pick up survivors any time soon after it happened,YOU usually got sunk too. The only consequences of torpedoing a rescue ship was the torp used{and maybe your soul if you have a conscience}, but what the #@$%, it's only a game. Anyway, that's the way I see it, and if I can get a easy shot at a rescue ship, I'll take it every time. [By the way, this is my first post ever] Some pretty funny stuff in here every so often(crush depth of an UZO)Too funny!

If it moves you should be able to shoot it,i'd shoot the rescue ship but not the life boats,If something has guns then its a threat and it deserves to die,if you got up to rescue men in the water then you can be caught sure they would sink you.

Back in those days German commanders were respectful of people on the beach near the american shores. I heard on the History channel an instance of a Uboat purposly moving into a new position as not to accidently fire on shore. They were firing upon a tanker and firing out to sea. This was nice of them. They sunk many tankers that night until escorts arrived from far away. The americans totally didnt expect a Uboat to be so far as the gulf of mexico. Had to be a psychological mission anyways. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

"They won't catch us this time! Not this time! They haven't spotted us! No, they're all snoring in their bunks! Or, you know what? They're drinking at the bar, celebrating our sinking! Not yet, my friends. Not yet!"

That made me mad and 9/11 also. Its all the reason of politics and money. Politics is a fancy name for a reason to do something outrageous for a bogus cause or hidden agenda. This country will never learn to grow up. Money is the biggest problem and most of it goes to places they shouldnt (in a politicians pocket or their buddies like contractors) No wonder people on the net come up with nick names like "Bush sweats oil" and "Puppet Master Chaney" http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif
