Yes! Parked aircraft after they finish mission make needed airfield attack targets during campaign mission.

Solution:: Turn OFF AI-AI aircraft collisions when they are on the ground.

Yes i must admit i miss parking next to the surving squadplanes, seeing them all lined up...lets you know instantly if the mission went well http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-happy.gif or not http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-sad.gif.
Perhaps there should be a parameter where you cant place static objects, so returning planes can park without crashing into them.

I think its a frame rate issue.

Too bad. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif I used to like to follow targets in my IL-2 (QMB missions) back to their homebase and attack them after they neatly lined up on the field for me. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Yes, as Mike_E. said, probably a frame rate issue. Still, it would be nice to keep planes that successfully park on the tarmac (or near maintenance hangers http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif on grass fields), and just sweep the landing strip/taxiways of abandoned/broken planes every few minutes so that returning AI planes can land and taxi without colliding. The automated flight controller should also be able to warn planes away if there is an obstruction on the field; and, the AI should listen and go around! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
