I've got a track that plays out differently depending on whom you "follow". I actulally survived the mission, but if you follow one of my enemies, they kill me... what's up with that?

Happened to me once too. The outcome of the track was different to what actually happened. I think the AI was just not recorded right and acted on its own again. Thus I fired into the deep blue a few times with the enemy behind me :-) Oh well...

Which sort of track? The one generated by the "Save Track" button at mission end (.trk file) or the one generated by the "Quick Start/Save Track" control (.ntrk)?

The former is quite unreliable, particularly if time compression is used in during the mission you're recording. The latter is (AFAIK) totally reliable, but I'd be interested to hear if you have experiences to the contrary.

I used the "save track" one. Hmm... I'll try recreating this anomaly with the "Quick Start/Save Track" one.

Yes they can be quite messy... I save my mission in .trk (after completing the mission), and when I played it again and I found my A/C to fire at empty air, and yet hitting enemy bomber mile away on the port side http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/blink.gif.

But I think that's happened because I used time compression in my mission, and when I played it recorded I use option 'time compression' on(meaning I can change it while I watch the mission).

About recording while flying(.nrtk), I don't know, will check it out, maybe that works(with time compression?). ver.ACES 2.01
