I used to use the LWE3D exclusively in Jane's WWII fighters and was wearing them out about every 3-6 months. Most of them just need a little disassemble and cleaning of the pots or buttons fixed..etc.

There's a great website somewhere out there that details the repair quite extensively. I have some older blue ones and a few newer black ones. I kept meaning to get around to fixing them using the others as spare parts, but since I got the X45, they're just sitting in my garage collecting dust.

I hate to throw them out, if someone wants them. They're free to whoever promises to actually use them for replacement parts or to fix up and would get good use out of them.

I'll pay for the shipping to anywhere in the US. Drop me a line at:

stickonur6@hotmail.com

If you are interested.

I tried to find that repair website, but I'm not sure it's still on the net. Hopefully, someone might have saved it or has the link.

Look in the Essentials thread for Adlab's X45 profile. I hear it's pretty nice.

USE THAT X45 STICK AS A BUTTON BAY!

Will do, BC. Funny thing though, I use the default install for my Saitek and find that I can assign all of the important functions, while only using the keyboard to start engine, use radiator, use manual gear or bomb sight.

I've been meaning to throw the software on my PC or a Hazard Script, but I haven't truly felt the need just yet. Maybe adlabs profile will change that.http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
