I´d recommend Mozilla Firefox which is another webbrowser which I´m very happy with...

I'm using CrazyBrowser... built in popup blocker there. Another IE upgrade is called MyIE. Haven't tried it yet. I like that Ctrl + Enter www.***.com (http://www.***.com) command of IE. Too bad Mozilla doesn't have that (AFAIK, dunno if they added it in newer version, tried one of the very first ones). I use it very often and it's like Perfect in FB... I just can't browse without it http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I'd have to second Mozilla Firefox. Best browser ever! You know the Department of Homeland Security's Computer Team officially deemed Internet Explorer an unsafe browser and recommend that people use ANY browser other than IE.

Firefox and Thunderbird are great - yep

M$ IE (and MyIE is based on it - it's just a fancy overlay) and Outlook are full of backdoors and holes (which do NOT get plugged either...

But anyway - a pop-up blocker will not get rid of spy/add ware...

Use Adaware and Spy Sweeper or something simular on a regular basis too http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I've been using the Panicware program for quite some time now. I highly recomend it for its trouble free nature. It places a hand on your taskbar that you can double-left-click to turn on or off. You can also use the Ctrl key . . . holding it down while clicking a link will disable the blocker long enough to open the window that I am typing in at the moment http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
