Funny he didn't tell you what he said & only what I did,

Now others will have to see what I had to deal with renting to this guy.

He ordered a server & got his server, He immediatly started emailing billing for support in wich I directed him to use our support forums as I do everyone else that mistakenly emails me for support but he continued emailing & calling me instead of using our support forums like he was informed.

He continued to email & call me getting smart & demanding support wich he was directed numerous times to our support forums as you see in the above post.

We are the largest supplier of raven shield servers on the net with no other complaints now ask yourself who is @ fault here him or me.

Here's what others think of our service http://www.vskgamingservers.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=8&sid=68618b3c0faf9cfff348402836e4ce77

Be warned smart hosting or whatever your name is if you decide to rent to this guy.

Nice try on the damage control you only have 54 more forums to find. NO, im gonna make sure that people know what your service is like. Your servers crash and you dont provide support on them nice. Good business ethics there. This is the letter I orginally wrote. I called your company 2 times and emailed you 2 times if thats to much for your ma and pa garage business im sorry to have inconvienced you. See for yourself:

Obviously you dont understand the value of customer service. I dont act like a total **** when my patients come to see me. Nor do i act like they are stupid when they dont understand what type of disease process they have. I dont appreciate being hung up on or treated like im an idiot. I'm not as computer literate as you are. I just need a little help. All i need to know is if i can reboot this computer remotely and how to do it. This is a one month test trial of your hardware. Im still willing to do business with you, however I wont tolerate the way im being treated, im sure we can find another server network that would be willing to take our money.

Another thing, Ray, take some spelling classes or learn to use spell checker; focus on your grammer , heres a tip, it makes it look much more professional. Your just making yourself look as stupid as you really are.

I read quite a few of your forums, and you guys need serious help in the Customer Service area.

I doubt I'd rent from you even if it was free.

Oh, and this:

We are the largest supplier of raven shield servers on the net with no other complaints now ask yourself who is @ fault here him or me.

Doesnt really match what you say here:

Might try asking in the ravesheild forums due to the fact we don't got alot of clients for that game.

So you are the largest on the net but don't ge a lot of clients for this game?

No one rents this game,

Our not alot of clients is still more than anyother provider, We got as many raven shield servers as others game server providers have all games combined together.

50 Raven shield servers is not a lot in our book compared to our 250+ Ut servers or 150+ Moh servers.

You are at fault. Why not give the guy some help instead of sending him to a forum? Im sure somewhere down the line someone helped you. So what if you need to spend some time helping him learn. He is a paying customer and deserve better support then "give me your money and leave me alone". Better that you teach him then let him mess up the server everytime he tries to do something.
You wont last long treating customers like that. Every fly by night server rental company out there fades away. Number one cause, lack of support.

VSK,
you are lying to your clients about your connection speed.

you colocate through Cybercon in St Louis. Thier network consist of ISDN, DSL, ATM, T1, T3, OC3, OC12 and OC48 WAN connections NOT OC192

And Cybercon is not the FASTEST data center in the country, where do you get your source?

What about ThePlanet or the ExchangeColo building or NAC? Those are known for being top data centers.

Man this is just to good to not post... I work in Tech Support and while the email you wrote to your PAYING customer is VERY unprofessional, I can understand that some times people just don't get the point, WE DON'T SUPPORT IT!!. While I am not taking sides here it looks as if this company has more then one complaint so that's 2 of 50 customers who have issues with your CS, you may want to look into that. As for our Vendor they are EXRETEMLY slow at getting the server back up after a crash.. Since I have been setting up games servers for personal and my clans use since Quake I if I cant figure it out I know where to look, I wouldn't depend on ur vendor helping you out or they would need to charge allot more for there service, kinda like AoWC, who has great service BUT HIGH prices.. Our other Vendor is cheap and they are VERY responsive and seem to know there shiit, been with them for almost 2 years..

No you guys are wrong, He emailed support & I'm billing not support, I told him to use the support forums, I did not deny him support it's just that I'm not qualified to do so I redirected him to our support forums were we have roughly 25 staff qualified in each game that can help, That's all.

As for our bandwith, Our machines are in the United States Bandwith Exchange building, AT&T UUNET Level3 QWest & Genuity are all in this same bulding.

The half sentence quoted above is what they sell not what they got http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif Cybercon is the one who provides other isp's with there bandwith they buy it from us basicaly Were on lan with the fastest pipes in the nation if not world, It's a fact, Go to school you'll learn that after you spend years networking & getting a degree in computer science like I did.

Oh & just for the record The Planet there located in the same building as us http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Haha just did some more research & the other 2 places you just named are about as small as an isp can get http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Net Access Corporation: Quote from there site, We have built and we maintain one of the largest and most fault tolerant networks in the region, composed of a full mesh of OC3 (155 Megabit) and OC12 (622 Megabit)

Whoa a Full OC3 http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

just 2 put my 2 cents in..

I sorta agree with Ray. I run a small web hosting service. I like to pride my self on 1on1 support, but sometimes clients take things way to far and you just have to strongly and forcefully make your point.

ex.) someone buys hosting from you, just something small say 5 dollars. You hand out all contact info for that client so that he can get all the help he needs from you. After about 5 minutes of struggling with his PHP-Nuke install he messages you about it. You take the 2 seconds it requires to fix his config.php .. 10 minutes later he asks you this, then 10 more minutes later that. After about an hour of this you've completely built his site. Then after a few quit hours he asks you if you can create him a logo. -=] And you say "Sorry bro i dont have the time to create your logo for you" and then you get marked as being "crappy support".

Sorry but sometimes clients take things way to far. You can only help so much. Should support personal be responsible for teaching clients how to run this or that . No.

Which brings me to another subject. please could everyone stop with their overly loud advertising on the forums. These are the only forums ive ever seen this much advertising spam on.

(Put overly loud advertising here)

Its funny how you delete all negative posts from your Server Testimonials. Leaving only ones that say good things. Not very open about your service are you?
