View Full Version : Individualized Convergence Settings

I was thinking (always a dangerous thing) that some people (like me) change the settings of their convergence from time to time based on what their current mount happens to be.

Say, for example, I usually fly a P-47. 8 .50s in the wings, convergence set to XWZ.
THEN, I want to try out an Me-109, 1x20mm and two 7,9s in the nose. Suddenly I find I can connect better with a slightly different convergence value, say, ABC. I have to manually re-adjust my setting. Than back again when I jump back into my jug.

I wonder if it would be a benefit if the game could "remember" my convergence settings for each aircraft type, and use that setting automatically every time I fly that plane.
(I could go back in and re-set it to something else if I wished, of course)
Since the game already "saves" the last skin we flew with, I don't imagine it would be too terribly difficult to save the convergence setting also. If this could be done, would you like the game to:

I just want to know what all the uber aces have them at per plane! And I'll work out the rest if need be.

I'm gonna bump my own topic (I'm sure there is some nasty term for that http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-happy.gif)
I'd like to see more responses-good or bad- to this idea

Totally agree Chris, it's a shame that you have to set your convergence for each aircraft.Although I do tend to keep it the same anyway.
