Ardennes, Normandy, Pacific online.
We have such maps already, but the epansion promises them in a "pristine" condition.
What is meant here?
New maps of the same areas?
I think that for me at least, the P-38 and P-80 alone are worth $29.00, so I am not complaining by any means.
But I would like to know about the maps-
S!

Yeah, me too. Is the map reference just a typo or are we getting new maps. Holland, Belgium, Northern France would be nice... Normandy is getting old... know what I mean

$29.97 for 20 new planes and pristine maps? Where the heck is the one plane to makes it all worthwhile - the Spitfire!

Guys I don't know if I can stomach $29.97 for this. I think $19.97 for an addon pack like this would have been more reasonable. What do you think?

No one has paid any money for those maps. You are in essence saying that Maddox Games should not have given us those maps in the patch, thereby justifying the price of the add-on. You are upset at Oleg and Co. for giving you something early and free. What's wrong with you?

I guess I did not read carefully enough to catch that word. "Pristine" certainly can be interpreted to mean several different things. I hope Thunak will provide some clarification.

As much as I am still hoping that more of the low countries is modeled so that we can properly cover the Western front from 1944 on...its unlikely.

The use of pristine in this context means absolutely nothing. Its a marketing thing...sounds better than without. Ignore it.

Maybe the "Pristine" or Virgin maps mean NO OBJECTS.

This could be a Good Thing, as the map modders spend most of their time placing by hand small buildings and outhouses. We can do that ourselves in the FMB. And if the map modders must Cheat to bring us more maps, then Cheating is a Good Thing.

You know, a single large landscape map of the WAR from London to Moscow could be made and we only add building objects in different places for where our missions will be. That we can load quickly and run smoothly, and still have the Challenge of navigating P~51 or P~38 over all of EUROPE for thousands of km and actually using those drop tanks over the FB.

No, I think "pristine" means "new."
