With all these wonderfull aircraft coming online for the projected add-ons I would like to plead for the inclusion of the DeHavilland Mosquito at some point in time. Speed, power, multirole versions. Historical missions - "pathfinder" ops.

oh and not to forget the Lancaster bomber.
"dambusters" missions. ooooooh!

Thx.

How about a Swordfish... my first Airfix kit!

A bit OT: Huxley, I was working on a Swordfish model for a while last summer, never got it finished due to work commitments, and nobody at Netwings wanted to take it on.... here's a picture to remind you of your Airfix days!

er, seems like those links are a bit hit-and-miss, you might have to copy and paste to a new browser window to get them to work, dunno why!

Strange how the wooden wonder hasn't attracted any takers yet.

Its definatly needed, along with the germans version of the mosquito hs somthing even named the same. The factory was bombed and the 2 were lost but they flew and were very impressive.

theres many important props missing and I hope oleg continues to keep fb alive by handing the torch to someone he trusts who can continue adding maps models and working on fms. When hes occupied with BOB, battlefield command and that pt boat sim.

Agree!

Both Swordfish and Mosquito would be a great addition for FB.

Mosquito..for my opinion..is a must...why not with a "norvegian" map.

Wrong designation the 'Hs'. Hs is for Henschel and that a/c was the Hs129 AT a/c. The German Moskito was the Ta154 night fighter with other variants planned, coming from Focke-Wulf.

The absence of the RAF Mosquito after two years of IL-2 improvements is baffling.
This is what I got from Netwing forum awhile back; http://www.netwings.org/cgi-bin/dcforum/dcboard.cgi?az=show_thread&om=522&forum=DCForumID43&viewmode=all

Did you miss the thread in the GD forum. Someone is looking at modelling the Mossie.

I'd also love to see the mosquito. But id prefer the Beaufighter though as that plane has so much potential for offline and online missions and has some quirks that would make it interesting to fly. It also looks very aggressive.
