View Full Version : Oil slatter obstructing your view......what would you do?

Thought of a little problem that back in the day might cause a problem for a fighter pilot......
OK, your in the heat of a nasty DF and as you stalk your prey, close in and unload on him at close range when all of the sudden http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/59.gifSplat....oil from his engine has covered your front view!! What would you do?? Windshield wipers.......lol http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

You just wait a few seconds for the air blast to wipe it off. This is something that doesn't happen in FB unfortunately. But I have gotten pretty decient at landing half blinded by the oil splatt.

How about turn on the valve that sprays fuel on the front glass?

Yea, that valve should be there but can't find it huh?

Need that magic yak oil that splashes on windshield but nicely leaves gunsight unobstructed.
