LOL:- Robert Shaw is my favourite actor of all time. I think he was great. You left out a couple, by the way....
He was the "Big Mick" in "The Sting"......

AND...

He was a Spitfire pilot in the original "Battle of Britain" movie...

So ,he was a fighter pilot.
