Taskforce1x1): Will our U-boat be able to retrofit/rebuild if upgrades are available in port as the war progresses?
(Devteam): Definitely! This is one of the main features of our dynamic campaign the player will have the option of keeping an old boat and concern himself mostly with improving the crew and upgrading technology aboard it or go for the latest model with up-to-date systems on board. We think it is essential for replay value to include as much choice for the player as possible

** i would love to see a screenshot of the option where you can make changes to your u-boat***

Will it be actually advantageous to get the 'latest model' boat and start with a new crew, or just keep the 'old' boat with an experienced crew and just upgrade it? It would have to be a REALLY GOOD new model I would think! Maybe just keep the old one with all the upgrades along the way for as long as possible. Especially if you've got a 'crack' crew!

Question is can you just keep your boat or will you be forced to upgrade to the new Model?

mind you if i got told hey this new boat goes this deep and fast over your old tub I'd take it.

I hope an engineer tells you your sub will be scraped if it comes back shot up to hell http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif i can see your face "but its my boat,we've been through so much" http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/cry.gif
