Is there a group, meeting area or forum for new users like myself. ( ie so that we won't get embarrased at shooting our tail fins or landing without wheels http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif)

Don't be embarassed about anything flight-sim related (except for: purchasing Combat Flight Simulator 3).

IL2/FB/ and most all flight-sims are hard, and come with a steep learning curve. We've all been there, and few will actually make fun of a newbie.

Welcome. Enjoy your stay.

Welcome AntiguanKnight.

Like Baldie said, don't fret. We all have been where you are. Some, like myself, are still there. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
Pay no attention to any rude and sarcastic people you may meet. Just do this to them http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/crazy.gif

Finally, ask questions. We're here to help. This community sure helped me when I got started. They still do.

Enjoy. S!

Welcome aboard! Don't worry, the stupid question is the one not asked. Go ahead and ask what you wish, some of us here will show you the way to enjoy your new sim!
