i just got the 6800gt and had the game installed with patches. No matter what the setting are it jerks and sound is scrachy on bother multi and single. I had the 5200 before and it ran fine on the lower settings. I have updated all drives and now am stumped...any have this prob or no how to fix

Post in the Tech support along with your DX diagnostic report and your more likely to get the fix.

If you had to play on the lower settings .. its probably time for an upgrade. Just my 2 cents without any further info.

Set back the DirectX acceleration on the sound card settings ! - thats probably it - also test offline so you won't be influenced by a laggy game http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif and you need 1GByte of system RAM too to play smooth http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Thats true if he has the CPU power. However, Im afraid he don't have the CPU jam to handle a higher Video Card .. therefore putting 2 Gigs in the machine ain't gonna do squat http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/35.gif

lol - it works for lesser systems too - since FB loads objects into memory (and like above cities - well) not enough will allways stutter the game...
