A country road. A tree.

Evening (20:00 GMT).

Estragon, sitting on a patch of grass, is trying to take off his boot. His clothes are old and covered in patches. A small dog plays nearby.

Enter Vladimir, a man with a patch over one eye. He lays down a patchwork quilt on the patch of grass.

ESTRAGON: Nothing to be done.
VLADIMIR: I'm beginning to come round to that opinion. I've been trying to patch things up with the wife.
ESTRAGON: What happened?
VLADIMIR: She said our marriage isn't a patch on what it used to be.
ESTRAGON: I know the feeling.
VLADIMIR: Did you get that patch for Forgotten Battles yet?
ESTRAGON: (irritably). 2 weeks.
VLADIMIR: Bummer. May one inquire where you spent the night?
ESTRAGON: On War_Clouds_44+.
VLADIMIR: And they didn't beat you?
ESTRAGON: Beat me? Certainly they beat me.
VLADIMIR: The same lot as usual?
ESTRAGON: The same? I don't know. They were all in Ki84s. I did manage to des-patch a few of them though.
VLADIMIR: We best get you patched up.
ESTRAGON: I'm happy sitting here on the patchwork quilt, on this little patch of grass near the vegetable patch for now thank you.
VLADIMIR: Is that your dog? The white one with the dark area on his little face?
ESTRAGON: Yes.
VLADIMIR: What's his name?
ESTRAGON: Spot.

Well, either they give us the patch, or send us to mental institutions! :

Very funny Huxley, thanks.

Especially since I just saw "Godot' weekend before last.

I also just saw "Godot", Huxley, and I swear your scene was in it. Lucky was played by Ray Ban Jockey. I guess that's why we haven't seen him around here lately.
