For PF will the units default to american values? ie. mph, feet, etc. I have no problem using for km and meters for the eastern front, but it would be more accurate to use american values in the pacific.

This would only make sense. I hope it is presented that way.

In my view - in case anyone is interested..
I think we in the states were pretty cool about using the metric thing in the FB Euro themed sim in the olden days.. But now - with this Pacific based, mostly 'merican theatre of ops in a brand new sim, maybe it should be presented in imperial measurements. It's only fair - right?

I brought this up twice a long time ago trying to get there to be an option/function between the two units and surprisingly got no response at all, nothing but the silent treatment. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-sad.gif But don't get me wrong, metric is absolutely no problem for me. Just thought it would be a nice touch.

Dnmy - I was trolling, sorry..

the idea of being able to toggle the measurements between the two systems seems the most logical.. but I think maybe the code to change it is a problem..? too embedded maybe?..

i did say that I meant it in the best possible way. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

IIRC, Oleg sez the speedbar and wonder woman view will always be metric, due to limitations in the engine.

I'd say it's more due to the stubborn nature of the developer. Imperial/metric conversion tools are widely available for free all over the net. Saying it is a limitation of the engine is a cop out, IMHO.
