I just played 3 missions of Smolensk'41 campaign, and with the first mission, people got their asses kicked in a very fast time ,by a.i. planes,no less.

After that,everybody(except One!),went away!

Only one guy-SEAHAWK89-,stayed along, and we flew 2 more missions.

It seems that people don't have the patience to read a briefing, follow waypoints, and fly the objectives.

Sure,it takes more time to get some action. But i found it very rewarding,it was tension building, and luckily the a.i. was sharp too.

My respect goes too the people who has courage and patience to engage in a campaign.

Really, this is something to do more often.
Imagine to fly with your friends, side by side and fighting like a team.

I also noticed that there was no warping, and no silly aircraft behaviour!

This helped alot in the experience,it was really tense,a rush.

Again, seahawk89,thanks for sticking around, hopefully we meet again!

And to all who read this, DAMN try it,bite your teeth in it,it's worth it!!!

Greetings from twister1401!

main problem is that they cause lagg with many Human and AI planes.

i crashed into a "Full Stop" AI plane every time i flew one.

there are 3 reasons why.
1: they do a full brake in mid air.
2: there are too much packets so the game starts to lagg.

3: combine both and u know why i usually don't have fun flying them http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

The online campaigns are the most fun if you are flying with a squad. We've flown most of them and are now doing the BoE online campaigns in P47/P51.

With the LaGG campaigns you would get to something like 25 missions and then it would stop updating your stats which is kinda the point. Also, I found it too easy even when outnumbered 2 to 1 or more although what makes the online campaigns such fun is trying to survive at all costs instead of airquake. Also, the missions had little to no variety or surprises in them which got a little redundant after a while.

The BoE campaigns are much more challenging (although I do personally miss the LaGG) with lots more enemy opposition and even getting bounced now and then if you're not careful!

What makes them even more fun is when human pilots join as opposition and your kills/sorties survived stats are on the line. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

SOME people dont like the campaigns..... Coops are just about all I fly.... a lot of folks want the "instant shoot em up" DF servers... but that gets old quick. Coops are the way to go... join a squad or look for them they are there.... and Seahawk is a pretty good egg..... http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

The wait sucks the wait sucks the wait sucks the wait sucks and did I mention that the wait sucks?

Coops would be great if it weren't for all the damned waiting. Or if I were retired and could sit around waiting for a game. Untill then, its warclouds or single-player.

Specs:
More expensive than the dining set.
Less expensive than the couch.
Smaller than the dishwasher.
Just as noisy as the refridgerator.
Faster than the cars' computer.
Less practical than the car.
Face it, people who put thier computer specs in thier signature are pretty ****ing wierd.
