In the first pic you can see that you see the mirror in the mirror.
http://www.jagdgeschwader53.flugzeugwerk.net/ju88/varia/p38.jpg

Second its about iar80, the angle of mirror is very strange, the angle of other planes are much better(p40 p47 p38 etc.....)The iar80 angle is nearly useless

And the last one, the bf110 does have a strange view when you change the position, you always have to change the view to realy check your six, in turnfights its not really usefull, in all other planes its fantastic, but not in the bf110

I thought the weird thing in the P-38 mirror is the rear armor plate for your head but i could be wrong. If you are right, then it would mean, that the view in the mirror is too close to the upper windshield and not right behind the mirror. We'll see what Oleg comes up with but to be sure, you could make a report to Oleg, so he will actually read this, as he doesn't read bug reports on the forum (AFAIK).

Thanks for posting the picture of the P-38 mirror. This has been driving me crazy. I thought I was the only one who noticed it.

Did you send this to Oleg?

Falkster, in addition to your P38 mirror problem - I noticed this problem (images linked to save thread loading time):

I believe that the internal cockpit view may have been misaligned with the 3D external view which is probably why we are seeing the 3D model back of mirror in the internal cockpit's mirror.

JG53-Falkster, I've also noticed the mirror view in the 38 and thought it strange, but had no idea what the problem was. And the view from the 110'in the rear gunner position is unrealistic as you say.

Where or what is Olegs email address to send pictures. I also found a bug with the view from the 110's rear gunner looking forward to the pilot. It's in this thread..... http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums?q=Y&a=tpc&s=400102&f=63110913&m=141109652&p=7

I just had a thought, it looks like the mirror housing is what's shown in the mirror. Just look closely at the reflection and then look at the mirror housing. They both look the same only when you look up at the housing it looks clear and the one in the reflection looks silver. But both have the same shape.

I could be wrong tho.

Yeah I spent some time trying to figure out what that was in the mirror of the P-38 and I just couldn't understand what it was. Thanks for clearing that up, I didn't realise it was a bug as I hadn't heard anyone else complain about it yet.

Since you have spent some time putting these tests and pics together, I would hope that someone from 1C (or someone tight with the "O-man") would comment.
