O.K. gang: I am attempting to get back into this sim. I laid off for awhile cause I could never get the control rates to make sense. Using Saitek 45/CH Pedals. No matter where I place the sliders my Roll rate is extreme. Constantly have to correct. This just does not seem normal, even for a fighter. However the Pitch rate is the opposite. I can hold full back pressure and get maybee 5 Deg nose up. Any ideas. I just dont think this is correct , something must be wrong somewhere

Thanks

Denis

that stick must be screwed up - try borrowing one from a friend to see if it makes a difference.

I have seen it mentioned in several threads that CH Products always hog the Controller One slot. This means that the game sees the Rudder Pedals as Controller One, and you can't adjust the sensitivities in-game.

I suspect that if you go into the configuration settings and find the [rts_joystick] section and adjust the 1X, 1Y, 1RZ, etc. settings from 100, 100, 100... to your desired settings, your roll rate and pitch response will improve.

Now in case I got this bassackwards, and it doesn't work, save a copy of your original cinfig file, and wait for someone who actually uses the same setup you do successfully to set the record straight.
