View Full Version : No access to multiplayer

The whole time I've been playing Frontier on my iPhone, I haven't been able to do any multiplayer, or see any leaderboards. A.N.B.A just stays the same, never giving me a match, when I go to the bunker it just loads forever, and the same with the leaderboards. I've tried with several different internet connections, and my girlfriend is able to access multiplayer from her iPad from all of them without trouble. has anyone else had a similar problem?

What kind of iPhone are you playing on?

It's an iPhone 4.

Under the App's information in the App Store, it shows a Compatibility Tab. It reads as follows:

Requires iOS 7.0 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. This app is optimized for iPhone 5, iPhone 6, and iPhone 6 Plus.

So based on that info, it might just be your phone. Is your iPhone 4 running iOS 7 or later? Support for iOS 6 has been removed, so that could be the case.

I'm definitely running iOS 7. Is it possible it's specifically not doing any multiplayer just because it's an iPhone 4? I would have thought it would affect the game as a whole, rather than just that.

The Solution:

Uninstall Game. (Choose to keep leaderboard rankings when deleting game. its the second thing that pops up when you go to unistall the game.)
Reinstall Game.
Play through the intro of the game until you get to the Village.
Once there, you can click on the Uplay icon and it will bring up a Login Screen where you can put in your current Uplay username and password.
Then it is should ask you if you want to keep your current game or restore your rider from the online server.
Choose to download your progress from the server, its the second option.

I've been connected to Uplay the whole time I've been playing it. It didn't ask if I wanted to restore my game from the server.

Is your Uplay icon yellow or grayed out?

Also can you please provide a few screen shots?

I've never had a problem with Uplay itself, the icon has never been greyed out while I'm connected to the internet. I'll post a screenshot but I'm now more concerned about the progress I've lost, as well as the money I've put it into it.
