Just a few weapons related questions I was wondering about. Planes with cannons in the nose - are these fired in synch with the rotation of the prop so as not to shoot it or what? Also regarding setting a fuse delay on bombs - do you have to allow for the bombs to bounce away from point of impact or do they dig in before detonating. Any info would be much appreciated.

Cannons have their barrels located in drilled prop shafts, they shoot through the spinner, nothing obstructs their field of fire, thus they don't need sync device. MGs mounted above the engines, behind the prop - they need to be synchronized.
Bombs falling to the ground dig in every time, time fuse works from the moment of impact. On the other hand bombs dropped on the water can bounce if you drop them flying with appropriate altitude and speed. (In fact this is the only way I use them against ships, because my "classic bombing run" skill sucks badly http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif)

Hope this helps!

Except when bombing ships, you want a bit of delay on bombs whenever you're bombing at low level to stop the blast from damaging your own plane.

If you drop them right, bombs will skip on water.

Cannon & machine guns firing through the propellor path are synchronised. Those guns that fire through the propellor hub don't need to be synchronised.
