View Full Version : Support for original Assassin's Creed?

I just purchased and installed the original Assassin's Creed. I'm near the beginning of the game where I'm supposed to do something called a "leap of faith". There seems to be some sort of technical problem because no matter what key I push or mouse button I click nothing happens. The game is completely unresponsive except when I hit ESC to exit the game. I've searched for a solution online but I haven't found an answer. Any suggestions? Also, how do I determine which "version" of the game I have, and how do I find patches for this old game? Thanks.

If its bought on steam or online via uplay? Should be auto update

As for leap of fate keys are...

Forward + right mouse button + space?

Thanks for replying. I finally figured it out not too long after my post. I'm not exactly crazy about this game. I've never played a game with such complicated keystroke combinations. I think I'd rather replay Splinter Cell instead. At least I only paid $5.00 for this game (on CD).

No worries :)

Splinter Cell I believe only started free running in Conviction... With only the jump button for going over tables or climbing up...

AC start by just using run button in part 3 Black flag, not sure about part 3.

Both great games when u get used to it.
I even free run backwards (camera face character) for fun, lol
Or get different angles in my videos.
